Luke 15: 7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in the heaven over one sinner that repenteth … ." Acts 8: 12 “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus-Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” Theme: Salvation of leaders and public figure: that is what The Lord is calling on us to do. Weeks ago, we have all around the world share and express our deepest sympathy and full solidarity with the family of one of the major figure of Africa and the world through active way (messages, flowers and testimonies) in order to see him back on his feet and healthy. In human and moral terms, no one sensitive could have remained indifferent either to the situation. No crisis or calamities hitting our society as unemployment, drought or terrorism, diseases etc … created unprecedented enthusiasm throughout the country and worldwide. The process has been clearly paying dividends. Churches leaders, prayers groups, bishops and their followers assembled days and nights in the Name of Jesus-Christ praising, worshipping and praying for his restoration. Although it is true that we, sons and daughters of Jesus-Christ have responded highly effectively for the prayer miracle healing to take place, its zeal has help to obscure the salvation research agenda God has assigned us for. We have care about the healing of the flesh rather than the healing of the soul of our brother. We have act with the urgency for our brother’s quick recovery in the hospital than to pray urgently for his salvation. We do have heart enough to call on Jesus to intervene and rise him from his bed, but have no heart to pray for him to accept, receive and confess Jesus-Christ Our Lord as his Lord and The Lord. Without giving any lesson and raise up any critic, we, sons and daughters of God know that The Lord allow most of the time people to go through pain and critical condition so that they can meet Him. It is an opportunity that God gave us to bring people closer to Him. God loves us. Miracles, wonders and healing follow automatically when our mission of preaching The Kingdom of God and Jesus-Christ is fulfilled. Our Lord Jesus-Christ before performing miracles was concerned in the first place about the soul. Our great commission as ministers of God is to bring every tongue to confess that Jesus-Christ is The Lord, to the glory of God The Father. Spirit of The Living God we come before Your Presence with praise and worship and thanksgiving trusting You to minister to our sisters and brothers to receive and express Jesus-Christ as The Lord. Amen
