Luke 17:1 (KJV) 1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! When Jesus talked about offences right here, He spoke of things that cause one to stumble. Things that offer one the opportunity to take a step backwards spiritually. He warned the disciples that there will always be stumbling blocks along the pathway in life. Be strong, avoid them, step around them. And woe unto the ones who create a stumbling block for another. Woe unto those whose life didnt bear Christian fruit, but instead hindered its growth. How would you rate yourself, if you could be on the outside looking it at your life? Is your life presenting others with an opportunity to grow in the Lord? Is your life one that portrays good Christian values? Or are you a stumbling block to one who need the Lord? Is your life one that a lost sinner would look at and say Why should I give my life to Christ? This person calls themselves a Christian, but acts and lives, and talks just like everyone else. How can Jesus help me, when He hasnt helped them?? Dont be that stumbling block that hinders someone else from seeking Christ. Live as Gods Word SAYS TO, not how YOU say to. Stumbling blocks and offences WILL come, but Jesus clearly stated WOE unto him, through whom they come!
