Luke 20: Those loyal to the scribes and pharisees ask Jesus if they should pay taxes.(They were hoping he would say no so they could turn him into the authorities.)He asks them to see a coin and on the coin was the face of Caesar. Jesus said give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God. They marveled at his answer.... So what is Gods? If the face of Caesar is on what belongs to him then the image of God must be on what is His also. So what is it he wants? US. We are the image of God. His fingerprints are all over us as he makes each person in his image special with special gifts to be used in his service.(yes everyone has something unique, given only to them to be used in Gods service.) His image is on us and on our hearts. We are all forced to give Caesar (government) what belongs to him/them. But are we giving God what belongs to Him?? Where is your heart today?
