Luke 21:29-33 says, And he spake to them a parable; Behold the FIG TREE(ISRAEL)(THIS IS THE FIG TREE JESUS CURSED IN MARK 11), and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh (FOR THEM IT WAS NOW) at hand.(NOT 2000 YEARS IN OUR DAY) So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.(THE KINGDOM FOR THEM WAS AT THE DOOR) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. (NOT OUR GENERATION, THEIR GENERATION SAW IT ALL FULFILLED) Heaven and earth(OLD COVENANT) shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. When you begin to recognize, that the KINGDOM of GOD is within us. You have to understand that the KINGDOM of GOD cant be at hand. IT IS WITHIN!!! CHRIST IN YOU!!! You know these events all happened 2000 years ago. AT THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM AND THE TEMPLE!!!! It is sad that most of the BODY of CHRIST still believe these things, are in our future. It creates fear and torment in the life of a believer. The Old Covenant passed away in that generation, With a fervent heat. That doesnt make me want to quit preaching the Gospel. That makes me want to preach it all the more!!!! BUT FOR A WHOLE DIFFERENT REASON!! We have a reason to live!!! Better not discount what i am saying. Better check it out!!!!! Have a great day!
