Luke 9:32 tells us......And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said. Mark 9 verse 5 says......And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. Luke tells us (as Peter was still yet speaking).....there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. Matthew tells is in 17:6......And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. The kingdom of God is always here.....But we cant see it in the physical. God the Father is always here......And its good we cant see Him in the physical, because we would die in His Holy presence. But at that special time......on that mountain with Jesus.....the disciples eyes and ears were open to see and hear the invisible kingdom of God!...... Matthew 17:7......And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. Mark 9 verse 8......And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. These three disciples were Jesus inner circle.......These three disciples would be the core of the building of Jesus church......and they were given the privilege to see (how close) and how real the kingdom of God was! Is it still that close?.......Absolutely!........as born-again believers, when we shed this physical body, well be there too!
