Luna, our Umbrella Cockatoo, is enjoying a little snack at the Visitors Information Center. Normally, she is allowed to roam on the outside of the top of her cage. Yesterday she got in trouble because when no one was looking she went over to one of the gemstone displays and started throwing a collection of them on the floor for her personal collection. Luna also likes the photo of herself that Molley took earlier this year. Many of the guests that see her tell her what a pretty bird she is – I believe that she is starting to believe it and her modesty is melting away.
