Lunch time news from Bredagh TV High levels of distress were experienced in Carryduff GAC last night when it emerged that club stalwart Eugene Lenaghan had failed in his bid to attract Aimee and Euan Mc Sorley to his club in the sleepy suburb. Eugene had become increasingly concerned that young teacher Aimee (his niece) was becoming more settled in the Bredagh club and offered many bribes to her from getting his sister in Riah Hair and Beauty to sponsor Aimee to promising her that she would receive regular vouchers from his sponsor Declan Gormley at Ulster Carpets. Undeterred Bernard Mc Kee offered free accountancy services with Hanna Thompson, free personnel training with Think People and free plumbing by Fearghal Mc Camphill. However as tensions brewed between Mc Kee and Lenaghan they eventually resorted to physical violence and it came to a sad end when Bredagh stalwart Boyd Devlin was forced to eject Lenaghan from the hall. All efforts to contact the respected teacher Mr Lenaghan as he is known in Aquinas GS have failed but the school secretary reported “ Well he is in today but this whole business has him terribly shaken … he’s half the man he used to be … never mind the weight he has lost.”
