Lunch with a Living Legend!! Sigma Community Enrichment Initiative (SCEI), Chi Sigma Chapter & and Kappa Upsilon Sigma Chapter’s - Sigma Beta Clubs had the honor of exposing our boys to a living legend during the KUS Founders Day Breakfast in Cheery Hill.. Yesterday was by far one of my proudest as a Mentor and as being a Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.. Our SBC members, like the hundreds of thousands of youth throughout the country have now seen Selma and discussed it since its release on January 9th (PBS Founders Day). However, only 62 young men from New Jersey can say that they met, had a personal dialogue, ate lunch with, laughed and shook hands with a LIVING LEGEND! My Frat Brother the Honorable U.S. Congressman John Lewis! The last remaining survivor from the August 28th March on Washington.. One of the 13 original Freedom Riders.. National Chairman of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee.. Looking Forward to our MLK National Day of Service Project on tomorrow with at least 50 of club members.. We do not have the right to sleep in or stay at home on tomorrow. If you would like to join us, we will be at the Abraham Clark HS in Roselle from 10-12pm tomorrow. .
