Lunchtime posts...I have a giant soapbox to hop on today, so Ill keep these posts short and sweet, with more to be written on my blog. Will post the link to the longer pieces when I finish. Lets start with the NYTimes again...today they want to claim that toddlers may develop an E-Cigarette poison fad. What is a fad? A fad is any form of behavior that develops among a large population and is collectively followed enthusiastically for a period of time, generally as a result of the behavior being perceived as popular by ones peers or being deemed cool by social media. Maybe I am lost here. How many of you have toddlers...toddlers (not children, not school children), that check out social media and subsequently copy their peers from what they are reading up on via social media? Better yet, how many of you know ANYbody that thinks of drinking poison as a fad?
