Lutheran Children and Family Service will be welcoming a refugee family of 11 from the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Tuesday, July 8. They will be living in Philadelphia. An apartment will be set up for this family on Monday, July 7 and several household items are still needed for their home. Large pots and fry pans, as well as single fitted sheets, curtains – measurement 86 X 56 (1) 73 X 56 (4), plastic cups and plates for the kids. If you have any items to donate, please either bring them to church on Sunday or contact Jane Jorgensen, [email protected] and I will arrange to get them. Please also keep the family in your prayers as they travel to resettle into a new community. Thank you.
