Lutheran Church Business Arm is Bankrupt: What has happened? All ships owned by Luship, business arm of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea is literally broke with management and church officials at loggerheads. A local investor has expressed interest to buy out Luship and other investments of parent company, Kambang Holdings. Too much corruption and greed and incompetency and politiking by church by management, board and church officials and local Politicians has seen the downfall of a company built from the 2 million plus followers of the Lutheran Church in the country. Are we going to call the government now to save the business arm of the church? Are we going to call the Lutheran Church of Germany or USA or Australia any longer to babysit us again on business management? What next now? As a born and raised Lutheran its really frustrating to witness the downfall of a very promising company started from offerings and tithes of simple Lutheran followers in the country.
