Lwandle Evictions Inquiry Response: Chairperson and the people - TopicsExpress

Lwandle Evictions Inquiry Response: Chairperson and the people of South Africa, we have been called here to listen to an ANC minister reporting on an inquiry she instituted to investigate the humanitarian disaster involving the eviction of our people by the unholy matrimony between the ANC and the DA We saw Pregnant women, school children, young and old, thrown into the unforgiving winter cold in Cape Town as if they were subhuman, reminiscent of the apartheid forced evictions that turn our people into hobos. But the case of Lwandle is not an isolated incident, forced evictions have become synonymous with ANC governance. Think Lenasia in Gauteng, Marikana here in Cape Town, and the countless farmworkers who are evicted from farms every single day in a program of the ANC to turn our people into hobos We also know from SATS SA that 14% of our people live in informal areas, and most of these are in townships. Furthermore, there is a backlog of 2.1 million housing units needed to cater for all those currently in need of houses, Chair, Between 1994 and 2012, an estimated 1 million farmworkers have been evicted from farms that in all fairness should be theirs. Many more are still going to be evicted as a result of the nauseating noise made by Minister Nkwinti in his recent proposal to give farmworkers 50% of the stake in farms. Now recently the minister is on record saying black people under the age of 40 will not be getting free houses. The minister told our people that no one under 40 lost anything to apartheid. These are the proportions of madness ANC policy has reached Of course minister Sisulu would say this, her father was in Robin Island, her father was SG of the ANC, her father is the great Walter Sisulu. She is the only one who should get a free house, she lost everything under apartheid But this is not true, minister Sisulu did not loose education, she did not loose a house, she has been in the cabinet since 1994 staying in a free house, with free furniture, driving free executive cars taken from taxing the bread, milk, salt, sugar and mili-meal of the poor. Minister Sisulu has basically told us that the new generation of black people will not get free quality houses when her government cant give them decent education and decent jobs Why, because the ANC does not care if all black people under 40 one day become hobos. Why did you not tell the people of South Africa this truth before election? That you are actually planning to turn all of them into hobos since you cant give them jobs, you cant give them decent education or decent wage so they live without needing your gov. state? The greatest hobo program is not Lwandle, it is denying an entire generation of black people quality free housing by a government that is incompetent at providing economic freedom A caring government must always open doors for the homeless: but you minister Sisulu if your policy sicceeds, you will go down as the minister who created another generation of black hobo families. I must promise you though, that EFF is here to fight you. We will make sure to mobilize the black youth against your ageist policy and make sure you do not subject a whole generation into hobos.
