Lydia Ann Phd HERE ARE 5 POINTS OF EV-D68----When I read the breaking news, the first comment I made is this sounds like MERS. It is posted here on RR.. I am not a medical doctor or expert in the field. But, I worked along side our expert in researching MERS. If this is MERS, we are in trouble. WE HAVE CONCERN AND REASON TO BELIEVE THAT THIS COULD POSSIBLE BE MERS. ALL RESURRECTION ROAD MEMBERS HAVE HEARD ABOUT MERS FROM US FOR OVER A YEAR. The issue is it is hard to test for it, it mutates quickly and there is great reason to believe its airborne. The symptoms are much the same. The CDC and media have NOT mentioned MERS. We are posting this information and will bring out the file on MERS for you to read and decide. RR also has a medical expert in MERS.(she will be posting soon) We did predict an outbreak in the USA after Ramadan. It is a muslim virus, and they traveled to the middle east for Ramadan, millions then returned to the USA. Diagnosing it is hard, many false results have been an issue with MERS. IF indeed we are hit with MERS or EVD68 either way there is no cure. This is the nightmare we have been teaching about for everyone to be educated on MERS, in many Ebola post we have said we should be more concerned about MERS.. Please take the time to read the FILE I WILL TAG SEVERAL MEMBERS IN IT,,, and pray that our country overcomes this VIRUS, that is attacking our children.... HAVE you asked why children?? 1. Symptoms of EV-D68, which is spread through close contact with infected people, are fever, body and muscles aches, sneezing, coughing and rash. There is no treatment and vaccine. 2. Often called EV 68, this virus is primarily known for producing respiratory symptoms - similar to that seen with rhinoviruses - although in some cases it can be severe enough to require hospitalization. There are reports of a number of children ending up in intensive care, some requiring ventilatory assistance, over the past week. 3. Jennifer Cornejo of Colorado told Denvers ABC affiliate that her 13-year-old son, William, had cold symptoms that developed overnight into a life-threatening illness. He was in really bad shape, she told the station. He came really close to death. He was unconscious at our house and white as a ghost with blue lips — he just passed out. Here is how William Cornejo described it: My head started hurting. And after that my lungs started closing up. It felt different. 4. Enterovirus is the name used to describe a group of more than 100 of the most common viruses that affect humans and other mammals(ANIMALS). Most people might interact with an enterovirus by way of the common cold, which can be caused by enteroviruses as well as rhinoviruses. 5. The virus usually starts like the common cold; symptoms include sneezing, a runny nose and a cough. This is all that happens for most people who catch an enterovirus. But some patients will get a severe cough, have difficulty breathing and/or develop a rash. EV-D68 is sometimes also accompanied by a fever or wheezing. Pudewell Bernhard via Angela Stevenson :PLEASE READ OUR FILE ON THE MERS VIRUS........THIS IS ANOTHER FORM OF THE EXACT SAME VIRUS AS MERS!!!! The only difference in these 2 viruses is the change in the RNA sequencing (which can be man made with technology in a lab OR this could be the result of the MERS virus mutating on its own)!!!!! BOTH OF THESE VIRUSES ARE DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE SARS VIRUS.......AND, THEY ARE AIRBORNE!!!!!!!!!!! Angela Stevenson Kayla.......if you want to be safer from this virus........I recommend EVERYONE gets surgical masks (N95 are the best and are cheaper than respirator masks, doctors + nurses use this particular mask in healthcare settings when they have a known or suspected TB patient). I also recommend using gloves and shoe covers (or take your shoes off before you go inside your house). ALSO, USE DISINFECTANT WIPES FOR YOUR HANDS AND/OR SHOPPING CART HANDLES.......when going to the store OR when handling money (many viruses/bacteria are found on the surface of money). Also, use disinfectant sprays on the surfaces of things inside your home. ALSO.........wash your hands often, and do NOT touch your face (most people really have to think about this, because we touch our faces often throughout the day).
