Lydia and Mark visited a few Meet and Greets trying to find their perfect cat. Finally, a couple of weeks ago they met Oopsy Daisy, our tiny, all black, visually impaired girl. It was an instant love connection between the couple and Oopsy. They went home, filled out their application, and came to the next Meet and Greet. They decide that since Oopsy loved laying on the toddler beds snuggled up to other cats, that they needed to adopt another cat to be a friend for Oopsy. The volunteers gave them a list of cats that they thought would be a good fit. The list was quite long and they barely got a chance to meet the cats on the list before the Meet and Greet was over. They went home to read all of the bios and cross some names off of the list before they came back a couple of days later. When they arrived for their private appointment, they still had a list of about ten cats to choose from. Slowly, they narrowed it down to Malcolm and W.C. Cheezit. They decided to bring Oopsy to both of the cats and see which one she got along with best. When Oopsy was set down next to Malcolm, she settled in right against Malcolm and went to sleep while Malcolm purred loudly. It was a funny seeing 6 pound Oopsy snuggling with 16 pound Malcolm. Right then, Lydia and Mark knew that Malcolm and Oopsy would be great friends. Lydia and Mark have promised to update us on Oopsy and Malcolm as they know that both cats are very popular with the volunteers and Crashs supporters. Congrats to Oopsy Daisy, Malcolm, and their new parents!
