Lying Safestyle Security bully physically assaults, intimidates and makes press photographer feels harassed, alarmed and distressed in Swansea. This is the moment a bully in a high visibility jacket without any authority attempts to do the polices job. Prior to that and when I approached him I asked him where could I collect my accreditation from to which I was told that there was no admittance without it. At that moment and having seen other press colleagues that had already gone through (some from the exact spot without a pass) I told him Im just going to walk on the public highway. I was then pushed back, had his arms around me and again not allowed through. A nearby police officer suggested that I tried to another through point. AT THIS POINT I MENTION TO THE OFFICER THAT I WAS ON THE FIXED POINT ARRANGED BY THE PALACE (HEARD IN THE VIDEO) WITH THE BULLY SECURITY MAN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. HIS CLAIM THAT I DIDNT EXPLAIN THAT I WAS WITH THE PRESS IS A LIE. EVEN AT THAT POINT HE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LET ME THROUGH BUT HE DIDNT. When I went to the other point, I was left to stand waiting for about 10 minutes when yet another reporter arrived to be told that she had to go through the point I was not allowed through initially. She was waved past with such ease that really annoyed me. The rest you just enjoy on the video. No members of the public have any right to manhandle, assault, push back, put their arms around another person, restrict physical access in public areas. That is the role for the police in exceptional circumstances.
