Lying about crimes should carry penalties equal to what the falsely accused would suffer. - Michael Yon People like to say cops lie these days, and I TOTALLY agree - theyre imperfect beings like the rest of us (some are nearly saints, and some are nearly devils). But you know who else is imperfect and capable of lying? The suspects they deal with it. Both sides often have an incentive to lie, so you have to treat people as individuals - not as members of a collective (pig cops, or scumbag criminals) and try and determine the TRUTH. Instead, people these days just go with what their biases towards one group or the other say, and dont feel even the slightest need to look at actual facts.
