Lynette Scavos breasts get bigger during her pregnancy, which she is desperately trying to hide. Her colleagues believe shes had a boob job and her boss, Carlos Solis, gives her his company credit card to buy a new dress to show off her cleavage at a business meeting... to seal a new deal. [He even asks her to speak to Gabrielle to also consider breasts enhancement.] She gets home after the business meeting, tells her husband, Tom, that the deal was sealed in no time...that none of the men could keep their eyes off of her and that even the waiter made sure she was attended to every other minute... Here is what unfolds into probably one of the nicest scenes of the season: Lynette (taking off her coat and pointing to her breasts, while asking her husband, Tom, who was working on an assignment): So why are men so obsessed with these things? Tom: I don’t know what to say, honey. I mean, some guys, uh, are just breast men. Lynette: Some guys? huh? Tom: Me? I appreciate all aspects of the female. Lynette (pointing to her eyes): I’m up here, Tom. Come on. I’ve seen pictures of your old girlfriends. Just admit it... Tom: Okay. My name is Tom Scavo, and I like big breasts. Lynette: But you married me. Tom: Man, I stepped right into that one, didnt I? Lynette: So let me ask you. You ever feel like you compromised? Tom: Yeah. (Scoffs) Lynette: Okay, Im giving you one chance to start over. Tom: No, no, no, no. I... I need you to not be perfect. Lynette: Why? Tom: Because Im not perfect. Im not... rich. Im not brilliant. Im not movie star handsome. If you didnt have this one flaw, I would spend every moment of every day wondering, What the heck is she doing with me? Lynette (leans in to kiss Tom): You may not be brilliant, but you can tiptoe through a minefield better than anyone I know. Well done.
