Lynn Update: Today was the first day I haven’t visited Lynn. I wanted to, but Louisa needed me to go to the store with her. I feel its very important I spend some time with both girls. Tomorrow night I’ll head over. I have released my mother and my sister on Xmas shopping. I have purchased a few things, and Lynn had purchased a few others. We’ll keep moving forward. Tonight, Arlene let me move a bed for her into the basement. Katie gave her a queen size airbed, but the floor down there is just too cold and sucks heat out at an amazing rate. I offered her a room upstairs, but she declined. I was prepared to give up my room, but she insisted that she actually enjoys having her own bathroom, and the bed would help. Lynn update: Arlene spent all day at the hospital. One of Lynns drains is leaking in her head. The surgeons have thought about this, and have decided that they are going to remove one, now that things are calming down. Things are starting to slow down a bit, and one drain is the norm. So we expect her to have one less appliance, but that will still be in for a while. Lynn is still needing to cough, so they are bugging her to do so frequently. This annoys her, but she is doing the cough. I understand she did a fair amount of PT and OT today, so they are working her tired, and I heard that she spent a good chunk of this afternoon/evening sleeping. NEEDS: SSDI: If anyone has done SSDI before, i could use a spare pair of eyes to look over the completed application before I send it in. It looks sloppy, and I hate to turn in sloppy work. This can wait until the weekend, or even after XMAS, but I need it out of the way by 1/9, and it really needs to be physical eyeballs. I can buy you a cup of coffee/beer/cider.
