ADFA:s lobbyverksamhet i Washington nämns också i reportaget. Swedish-Assyrian Daniel says he is ready to pay with his life to protect his people in Iraq. The Assyrian security forces are mentioned in the Swedish National Radio today. It tells of Daniel who moved from Sweden to join a force in the Nineveh Plain in northern Iraq. The report also mentions ADFAs lobby in Washington DC and the bill that passed the senate. The report states: Christian Assyrians in northern Iraq have recently started tranining and buliding their own armed forces in order to defend their territories against IS. More than 2000 volunteers have signed up to be part of the force. Daniel from Sweden is one of those who traveled to Iraq to fight against the IS. When Daniel is asked why he joined NPU (Nineveh Plain Unite) his answer is: Its my duty, its like paying tax in Sweden, Im now paying tax for my Assyrian people, and maybe that will be by paying with my life. #DemandForAction #SafeHavenNow
