M. E had a good day today! Cody was a complete professional on cross country. Brave, fast, and rideable. Tried a new bit out, so time was miss judged by a fraction. 1 sec too slow added .4 of a penalty to his score. Still in 1st heading into show jumping. He seems very chipper this evening, so hoping that translates into leaving rails UP tomorrow;) Francie had a very good show jumping. Had fence number 1 down. After she realized these jumps are higher than last time, her show jump blood came out with style! Cross country was a big step up for her. There was a significant out of things to do out there, and she showed her inexperience of not looking ahead through the question. She was caught by surprise at the 1st water, but Attila gave her a secure ride. She really gained confidence from his support as they went. She finished strong and happy. Galway will be a good show to end her year on. Snapper was double clear show jump and cross country. He was very excited in show jumping with cross country going on right next to his ring. Gary had to hang on a couple times as Snaps took them on some yahoo moments:) When they got to the cross country, the edge was off. His cross country has gotten better each time out. Positive, controlled, and very smooth. So proud of him. Sophie had a great double clear show jump on Piccolo. Piccolo was 2 feet over everything, and Sophie had him well balanced start to finish. 1st novice 2/3rds done! Madison and Roger had a solid, confidant round since RF. Good decisions, positive riding, and looking like a team. So happy for them! Bold was phenomenal in both jumping phases. Relaxed in the show jumping, and cruised around cross country. Really looking like a future star. Jack had an exuberant show jumping. He just has a style of seriously over jumping everything. That will go away with experience. He really stepped up with everything that was going on during the day. He had the very last jump down, but really looking forward to cross country tomorrow. Theres a lot for him to step up to tomorrow, so he will come away from this having really done something:) Heres a couple photos from our day. Photo credits Kelly Langerak and Mark Solon
