M.U.S.I.C. NOTES – August 20, 2013 People have very little understanding of the supernatural. The supernatural is the only reality there is. Everything has its point of origin in the supernatural and becomes an extension of it. God “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power…” Hebrews 1:2-3 People have defined the “word of his power” as gravity, inertia, high pressure, low pressure, jet streams, tides, migration, nest building, flights of the Monarch butterfly, precipitation of all kinds, etc and call it science. But in reality it’s the extension of the “word of His power.” The Bible is not a textbook or a legal document. It is a book of supernatural origin and can only be understood by supernatural beings. Christians are not Christians because of their religion. They are Christians because they have supernaturally been transformed into supernatural beings in physical bodies – all a part of M.U.S.I.C. along with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Paul, John, and many family members. Remember, “God is not a God of the dead but of the living.” “Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!” Mark 12:26-27 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 You may have a church of 40 that is seen but in reality a church of thousands that are not seen. God is a Spirit. That means He does not have a physical body. He would like to use yours to supernaturally connect with people you encounter that are seeking Him. While you are talking to them about recipes, vacations, ball games, etc. He can be simultaneously communicating with them at a supernatural level. When this happens they might say, “that sounds like a great recipe or a great vacation. But I need to stop you. You have something I don’t have. How do I get it?” I was at a store at the shore I hadn’t intended to visit. It popped into my head that they used to have sugar free chocolate almond bark. While Nancy was looking at some other items, I walked up to the counter where they used to have it to see if they still sold it. While I was looking at the candy, a woman behind me accidentally bumped into me. I felt her left hand touch my shoulder twice. The second time she did, I reached up and patted her hand with my right hand and said. “That’s OK.” I know it was her left hand, because when I patted her hand, I felt the rings on her finger. This all happened in a matter of maybe 5 to 10 seconds. I never saw her face, but Nancy said as she was coming up to the counter that she saw this woman with a surprised warm glow on her face – a very happy look. I was a brief physical contact, but I believe the God in me was meeting a need of her heart that I knew nothing about. More details on this topic will be in my book – “M.U.S.I.C.
