MACKY2 CAUSED CONFUSION IN CHIPATA THERE was near-confusion last Saturday in Chipata when fans of the multi-award winning artiste Macky 2 jam-packed Wildlife Hall. The fans wanted to lift the artist shoulder high as he made his grand entry into the hall. The show was almost ruined as the organisers Kakos Promotion Limited had a tough time trying to control the fans who wanted a close experience and glimpse of the Kopala Swag signature coiner. This excitement and mini confusion turned out as a blessing in disguise for those who could not afford a K20 ticket as they sneaked in during the confusion -gainning illegal access into the show. If there was a proper checklist to verify the eligible entrants, most of them could have been filtered out as illegal entrants. Luckily, no such thing happened hence the prosecution-free night though it was a huge loss for the organisers. Yes, the passionate organisers led by Kakos Promotion Limited musical director Lazarus Joseph Daka could have been angered with what transpired but thanks to the highly talented Macky 2 who put up a splendid performance wowing fans which made the show worthwhile experience. Showgoers were awe-stricken by the performance of Macky 2 who delivered what would be best described as one of the best shows in Eastern Province. Without doubt, Macky 2 remains a huge crowd-puller performer who was never a disappointment at both eastern shows in Katete at Malo Gardens and provincial capital Chipata. On Sunday, Macky 2 held a family show which was held at Kakos Tennis Club and attracted a royal presence of Chief Zingalume of the Chewe people in Chadiza.
