MADDEN’S SEAFOOD 3/25/14 NORTH RALEIGH LOCATION SCOTT MADDEN 11125 Six Forks Rd. 1.7 miles north of 540 on left **NEW HOURS** Friday 10am to 6:30pm Saturday 10am to 4pm or until all gone! I wish this weather would just go away. I am ready for shorts and flip flops. It is looking good for Friday and Saturday this week so come on out and get the freshest seafood around. We have had a lot of new people sign up in the last few weeks so let me explain how we do this. I send out these news letters on Tuesdays when I find out what will be available. I put my order in on Wednesday night according to what people preorder. I go down to Surf City, Topsail Island every Thursday and pick up the seafood and come back to Raleigh Thursday night. We set up at When Pigz Fly on Friday mornings and yall come pick up your orders. Everyone doesn’t order so I bring extra. Not a lot but extra. If you want something it is best to preorder. Just reply to my email and say “Scott save me a pound of shrimp and a pound of sword”.etc and I will have it ready for you. After you order I always send out a quick email confirming your order. Please when ordering tell me the day you will be picking up! I have had a lot of requests for a price list. I will be including one this week. It is NOT set in stone. It may vary up or down about $1-2 per pound. This is a supply and demand business and as such the more supply the lesser the price. And vice versa. What I will guarantee is that it will be the freshest you can find. We are going to be selling EVERY WEEK from here on out. We may miss a week in the summer but only one. THIS IS THE LAST WEEK FOR LOCAL OYSTERS UNTIL OCTOBER. SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE PREORDER AS I KNOW WE WILL RUN OUT EARLY!!!! Stump Sound Oysters are still available but the season will shut down April 1st. So if you are craving good salty oysters get them in the next few weeks until they are gone ‘til October. Bushel $75, half bushel $45, Peck (2.5 gallon bucketful) $25 or $10 per dozen. I had some requests about Halibut last week. We will have some this week. It was delicious last year and I expect nothing but the same now. We will also have some Catfish from the Cape Fear River. It is awesome. I have been working with Wendy Diard on a Web page. Hopefully we will have it up and running in the next few weeks. You can order off of it also. I will always send out the Tuesday newsletters too.
