MAINE NEWS from Ginger Taylor! Mainers!!! Huge news! So I have said on a few threads here that there was more to do than just fighting the bad bill, and that I would be discussing on Friday. But I can talk about it now. So I was sick of us having to be on the defensive, when the vaccine program is the problem, and I was reading yet another BS PPH article and thought, You know, where is the consumer protection here? And decided we needed to have the Maine Vaccine Conumer Protection Act. So I wrote one. It was submitted today by Rep. Beth OConnor! It is in! We have our own bill! Will it pass, probably not, but what it does is change the conversation from the idea that parents are uneducated, to the truth that doctors are not educated on vaccines. And then ADDRESSES THAT PROBLEM. We get to show up to a DHHS hearing and share all our stories of getting screwed by a totally out of control government vaccine program, and put the burden back on them to fix it! Below is the copy. It creates a vaccine safety office at Maine CDC, outside of the Maine Immunization Program, that advocates for parents, gets information from Big CDC, educates Maine doctors, holds medical providors to account for accurate messaging, and is a place for families like ours to turn for help on our issues. I would like to issue a press release on it Monday. I want their vaccine bill to blow up in their face so that they never try this again in Maine for fear of pissing us off enough to put them on the defensive. Maine Vaccine Consumer Protection Act The 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, and SCOTUS Bruesewitz v Wyeth, closed the courthouse doors to families for design defect claims. Vaccine injury claims were then moved to the HHS/HRSA Vaccine Injury Compensation Program: As a result, corruption has taken hold: The Childhood Vaccine schedule ramped up from 25 to 71 doses The Federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program rejects almost all cases filed States and families pay for vaccine injury cases that are the responsibility of HHS HHS has become a vaccine patent holder, while regulating, recommending and adjudicating vaccine injuries Corruption in safety and efficacy claims are being uncovered on an increasing basis. #CDCwhistleblower William Thompson DOJ Indictment of Poul Thorsen Merck Mumps Whistleblower Case in Federal Court MaineHealth false safety claims To remedy this, Maine needs a Vaccine Consumer Protection Act to counter the corruption, misinformation, and attack on families right to informed consent. The proposed act would Require doctors to be educated on the full VICP table and able to properly screen for and diagnose vaccine adverse events Add the full, and soon to be revised, VICP vaccine injury table (hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/vaccinetable.html) to the Maine Immunization Programs Provider Reference Manual maine.gov/…/immuniz…/providers/manual/index.shtml Advertise the VICP in Maine, per recommendation of the 11/14 GAO report on the VICP Require a Maine State VIS which includes all known side effects be given to patient, per insert, table and VICP rulings, remind patients of their right to opt out, and offer step by step instructions on what to do if a vaccine injury is suspected. Establish a vaccine injury office in Maine DHHS separate from the Immunization program: Act as an ombudsman for Maine vaccine injury families and clearing house for VICP case data Evaluate vaccine injury claims Provide guidance and a specific process for physicians to follow when a vaccine injury is suspected by their office, or by parents and caregivers Provide referrals to doctors who will evaluate and treat Provide referrals to attorneys who will file in the VICP Recoup MaineCare funds that are spent on vaccine injury cases Establish a complaint and review process for families to ask specific vaccine questions, challenge false vaccine safety and efficacy claims as well as coercion by vaccine providers, and requires DHHS to respond and justify recommendations.
