MAKES NO SENSE TO ME…....Do you really need a present at Xmas? You give someone a card so they can shop at Coles, Bunnings, Myer etc. How embarrassing when the person you give the card to gives the same card back. Only difference is, you gave them a card worth $50 and they give you the same card back worth $30 dollars. My late husband and I never gave each other presents. What we gave each other was love, support and most of all never trying to control each other. We gave each other freedom of thought, freedom to be who we are. When Mark was dying I nursed him at home for one year. I gave my all to him, love, care, empathy and compassion. Before Mark died he said he was sorry, he had ruined my life because he was leaving me. My reply? Mark you gave me a life, a wonderful life for 40 years. That to me was the greatest gift of all.
