MALAGA GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Monday 13th October 2014: WEATHER WARNING FOR THE WHOLE OF MALAGA PROVINCE FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH TO 6AM TOMORROW FOR RAIN AND STORMS (see main Graphic)!!!.......Wake up its a beautiful morning.....well, in the greater scheme of things it is anyway!!!......We said yesterday that we were giving an unofficial warning for heavy rains to come and that warning from the EiA has now translated into official alerts being raised by AEMET, the Spanish National Weather Service, for tonight......But before we get there lets talk about today!!!......This morning we should be getting some nice glimpses of that sun. There is risk of showers this morning but as the day proceeds we will see that grey matter start to darken across much of the province as a prelude to expected heavy rains!!!......Looking at what is building to move towards us I think AEMET should flag us with Orange Alerts as there is a strong possibility of some localised and heavy rainfall. I even have to flag up that there could be some Tornadic Activity within this coming weather due to the winds building up later today and moving in ahead of the storms!!!.....I must also stress that the warnings should extend through to at least 9am in my personal view!!!.......Stay tuned today and if possible I will give an update early evening unless AEMET upgrade first!!!......So, through the night tonight please batten down the hatches, stow external furniture and anything else likely to become airborne in strong winds if you havent already!!!......We will wake to grey overcast conditions tomorrow and as it stand rain, some of which is heavy, so if you partake in the morning commute or school run then take care.....fortunately if you are a morning school run type then at least the 4x4 may be of use for a change!!!......However, by mid morning we should be seeing the clear skies appearing from the west and that sun will shine across the province by late afternoon!!!......Come Wednesday we still may have some dark matter about up in the north west again but in the main its sunshine and with it a welcomed increase in our temperatures and as the week progresses we could be seeing temperatures exceeding the mid twenties range yet again with those evening temperatures climbing with it!!!.....The coming weekend is looking fine at this time and yes, we could be thinking already of a late season Al Fresco Sunday Lunch or BBQ.....thatll be nice!!!.....But all good things must come to and end and I fear that the days are numbered for our warm weather and as we start the new week next week those temperatures are heading south....deep south!!!.......So, lets get through tonight safe, sound and dry and then lets enjoy the the coming sunshine and warm temperatures with it whilst it lasts!!!......and then theres nothing of significant weather currently showing of the long range forecasting (2 to 3 weeks) ahead at this time so thats a bit of good news to end todays forecast on!!!......Jim Fraser for the EiALERT NETWORK!!!
