MALAGA GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Saturday 17th January 2015: Seriously, this year is flying!!!......Perhaps we need some bad weather to slow things down a bit. All this sunshine means theres lots to do and you can get out and about, even if its only into the garden!!!.......Bad weather confines you to home and the day tends to drag......and thats me trying to put a positive spin on the week ahead from tomorrow!!!.......Good morning to you all once again and on the basis of what I said above, today is going to fly by!!!.....Yes, its to be sunny, some cloud about still in places some of which could start off on the grey side inland, but a great day overall, not necessarily hot, but not bad. That wind will still be blustery but its definitely a day to make the most of the sun, get those outdoor chores done and get ready for some poor weather ahead!!!......Over night tonight weve got one of them Atlantic Low Pressure systems due to barrel down onto the Spanish North West coast and although it will pretty much weaken, the accumulated very large area of rain continues down towards us in the south so unlike Friday mornings rain which was a narrow band, tomorrows rain looks to be prolonged!!!......Looking at a time frame for it, those souls in this group way over in Huelva Province (yes, we do have em!!!) should see the stuff first shortly after midnight tonight......if their awake of course!!!......Huelva and Cadiz are on a YELLOW ALERT for possible heavy rainfall later in the day with Seville Province in the middle miraculously having no warning.....yet they tend to see the worst rain!!!......As for us Malaguinos and incorporating those Borderlandias just over our north west border in Seville Province, we should see the rain moving in as we rise in the morning.....If your a real early bird then dont sit there and think Jims lost the plot!!!......It may be that the rain stall a tad but its coming and its pretty much gonna rain on/off all day......or that might be on/on all day!!!......I am that close to throwing up a warning, albeit its unofficial, for tomorrow evening as thats when we are likely to see the worst......but that could change so just stay tuned!!!......and as it stands the rain could remain with us through tomorrow night and into Monday morning for the commute......but again it should clear through quickly turning Monday into a Sun day!!!......I never cease to amaze myself sometimes!!!.....Oh yes, Monday day is looking rather peachy once that greyness takes a hike so time to dry out before the next weather system comes knocking at our door........and that system comes Tuesday night after what should be a reasonable day!!!.....This next system is the one most likely to cause disruption on the high ground here in Malaga, over in yonder Granada for those looking to travel up country, and possibly throw up warnings galore.......it looks to come in heavy and pissed-off does this next system and it should be showing itself come dusk Tuesday evening!!!......But thats a good thing because all the worse stuff comes through the night and we wake Wednesday morning to what looks to be sunshine again!!!......So what do you think happens next???.......Thats right, come Wednesday evening here we go again, as another system barrels down towards us through the night into Thursday, not as rough looking as the previous system, but again wet through the night, possibly heavy in our east, and come Thursday day.......can you guess???.......Mmmmmm.......no, not sun.......RAIN!!!......possibly some heavy stuff with it so if anything, Thursday this coming week could be the one to watch......I certainly will be keeping my beady eyes on it as we could see our first real chance of something that could give us here in Malaga a real issue!!!....For Friday I see sunshine at the mo and that sun currently seems to remain with us across next weekend as those temperatures warm up a tad!!!......So thats a lot of weather to think about so lets not go any further!!!......As mentioned above, we are now seeing potential for some real orrible stuff and we bring down some real cold air with it so lets get today out of the way, enjoy it, and snuggle up tomorrow for a day of loafing around with a nice fire burning, some good movies, a delightful lunch, a real day of R n R.......take care and stay tuned and if nothing else develops Ill be back tomorrow with an update as usual!!!......Jim Fraser for your EiALERT NETWORK!!! :)
