MALAGA GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Wednesday 14th January 2015: What a grey day!!!......Good moaning all.....Yes, its gone all grey and fuzzy again today but there is a massive positive to that cloud cover being about......its acting like a onesie and keeping our daytime temperatures nice and warm!!!......Our weather is about to enter a relatively unsettled and chilling period brought on by a massive change in that weather motorway in the sky known as the Jet Stream. It rarely bothers us as its usual track is up along the east coast of the good old USA and across the pond (thats the affectionate name of the Atlantic Ocean just in case you didnt know!!!). It usually tracks north of the UK but oh no, now it wants to turn sharply and head down towards little old Spain and do a merry dance over our heads before beating its way back up to where it belongs!!!......So todays grey is the forerunner, tomorrow we get the lull and squeeze what should be a fair sunny day out of it before that horrible rainy stuff sets in as we head into the early evening tomorrow night and into Friday in the wee hours!!!.....Some inland areas may remain quite cloudy tomorrow but temperatures again should hold up......but brace yourselves for cold......its coming!!!.......So, with that rain Friday we beckon in a cold front so by the time that rain passes through what we get is a much colder daytime temperature. The cloud should start to break up fairly early in the day but into large globules as opposed to fluffy bits but the sun should be able to poke through. However, with that wind it will feel much colder!!!......Needless to say, night time temperatures will reduce as well.....BRRRRRRRR!!!.......Saturday we get a bit of a reprieve with reasonable sunshine for all intermixed with a smuttering of cloud. If you are a high up Inlandia or even a well-Inlandia (if you get my drift) expect to wake to frosts. But the good news should be that the winds have calmed reducing that wind chill......but the cold will chill ya anyway!!!......Through the night Saturday/Sunday theres chance of rain again and indeed a chance of a shower during the day from any grey matter floating about but again we should all see the sun through the gaps!!!......And the week ahead to start remains unsettled with reasonable cloud levels, small risk of a shower, but still a fair amount of sunshine poking through. No sign of those temperatures rising back up so maybe.....just maybe......winter has arrived???.......We will watch and see!!!.....Dont forget, if you havent done it already your running out of time to clear those rain water drains. We remain not expecting any warnings in our parts and although we may get a bit, its not looking to be enough to fully wet our appetites.....not likely to show on those reserves of ours, but its rain non-the-less and just because I am saying theres not much coming doesnt mean theres not much coming......its Spain and the Spanish weather will do what it pleases.....with or without an official stamp sent by fax!!!......Have a good day, sun tomorrow, so cheer up!!!.......Jim Fraser for your EiALERT NETWORK!!! :)
