MALAWI GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP (DIPLOMA COURSES IN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING) THE AUSTRALIAN COLLEGE OF KUWAIT (ACK) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME The Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Education is coordinating Scholarship at the Australian College of Kuwait. Application are therefore invited from suitably qualified Malawian to study for Diploma courses in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical and Avionics) The Course: The Diploma in Aircraft Engineering Programme is a full time 5 semester course covered in two and half years (30 months). The programme is an international accredited course and upon completion candidates will be awarded an ACK Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) B1.1 or Aviotics B2; an ACK EASA certificate of recognition (Mechanical) B1.1 or Avionics B2 and a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) TB1.1 or Avionics TB2 from Kangan Institute. The sponsorship The scholarships programme covers the following components: *Tuition *Accommodation *Return Air Tickets (No tickets will be provided during school vacations *Local transportation *I-pad *Uniform *Health Insurance *Student Visa Entry Requirements Applicants should have: *Secondary School Certificate or 0 level certificate of education with credits in English, Physics and Mathematics (This is a must). Additional credits in Chemistry and Biology will be an added advantage. *English language requirements: Minimum TOEFL IBT Score of 71 or minimum IELTS Academics 5.5 or better. Candidates who cannot easily attain the TOEFLs certificate but have gone through the Malawian schools education system will be supported with a letter from the Ministry of Education on the same at a later stage of the application. Requirements at later stages At a later stage of the process, candidates will be required to: *Undergo medical examination in line with Kuwait laws *Get security clearance from the Malawi Police *Pay a non-refundable fee of KD30 at the time of submitting the application.
