MAN CHARGED IN HOLLY BOBO CASE TRANSFERRED TO WEAKLEY COUNTY JAIL One of the men charged in connection with the disappearance and death of Holly Bobo has been transferred into the custody of the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department. John Dylan Adams, 26, was booked into the Weakley County Jail at 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday. He is not charged with any crime in Weakley County, Sheriff Mike Wilson told The Press this afternoon. Adams is charged in Decatur County with two counts of rape against Bobo, the 20-year-old nursing student who went missing from her family’s Darden home on April 13, 2011. Adams has pleaded not guilty. Wilson noted that Adams is a defendant in the Bobo case and that his transfer to Weakley County is one of “convenience.” “He’s got a court appointed attorney,” Wilson told The Press. “Where he was being housed is a considerable distance away, which is an inconvenience. They just asked us if we could hold him.” Adams had been in the custody of the Robertson County Sheriff’s Department. He is currently being held in isolation at the Weakley County Jail. Wilson said it’s possible Adams may not remain in isolation. “We’ll evaluate him and look and see what options we’ve got,” Wilson said. “I don’t know that that’s where he will stay. I don’t know of any problems that any other jail has had with him. We’ll just evaluate him and see what we’re going to do with him at a later date.”
