MAN FALLS 3 METRES OFF LADDER IN BLACKTOWN A 39 year old man has suffered head injuries after falling off a ladder while working in Blacktown. The CareFlight rapid response trauma team were called to the location on the corner of Campbell and Main Streets. CareFlight 4 dropped off its medical crew near Newton Road and Colo Lane before returning to its base. The man was initially unconscious and after treating his injuries at the scene, CareFlight’s doctor and paramedic continued to provide pre-hospital care en route to Westmead Hospital in a road ambulance. The injured man is in a stable condition.
