MAN MARRIES WOMAN 20 YEARS OLDER THAN HIM BECAUSE SHE IS GOOD IN BED NOT even a 20-year age gap between these lovers could split them apart. And on Saturday, Rose Cele-Shabalala (53) married Zama Shabalala (33) at the Nkandla Multi-Purpose Centre in northern KZN. Rose said when Zama proposed to her, he told her that he was looking for real love. He said that women of his age didn’t take love seriously. At the wedding, Zama was beaming in a cream coat and black trousers. “I love my wife. I will die for her and she is good in bed,” he said. The two met a year ago and Zama proposed a few months later. Some guests at the wedding were shocked by the age gap between the bride and groom, but that didn’t dampen the couple’s enthusiasm when they said their vows to each other. Zama said he was not worried about what other people think. “People should mind their own business and leave us alone. A few years ago my life was dull and miserable, but that all changed when I met Rose. I have progressed so much in life because of her,” he said. Rose, a senior nurse at Nkandla Hospital, gave her husband a new BMW 320i as a wedding gift. She said: “Zama is the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
