MAN OF GOD NOT MAN OF STEEL My wife and I usually get to host - TopicsExpress

MAN OF GOD NOT MAN OF STEEL My wife and I usually get to host associates and friends at our home, when we are not consumed by the demands of ministry. Thank God for sabbath rests . We find it such cherished moments when we disrobe the formalities and protocol that go with official ministry duties, and just enjoy the company of family as it were. Its exhilarating I should add. Yesterday was one of such days, and during lunch time, I relayed to those around that people tend to readily condemn men of God when they fall into perceived grievous mistakes and sins. I highlighted that sometimes, the laity tend to project and regard us as infallible - on a pedestal that is void of error. I beg to defer! Men of God, are still men of flesh and bones. We do face similar challenges and temptations, we get tired too. We may be privileged to be oracles of God, but we are learning on the job. I do not give excuses for our errors and acts of indulgence;afteral, we will be divinely judged on stricter scales. However, before you hastily arrive at your verdict, take the time to pray for that minister of God that may have disappointed your expections. Intercede for these men and women of the clerical collar, who truly serve by divine enabling. Even if you have vowed to stand for truth, remember that if God was to regard iniquity, none would stand. May the twin graces of MERCY and TRUTH be the ornament around your neck as you journey through this week. (see Proverbs 3:3-4 KJV) Multiplied Grace Pst Maxwell Idoro M.D
