MANAGER OF TALENT ACQUISITION - Creative POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re currently looking for a top tiered Manager of Talent Acquisition for Creative to drive the initiatives to attract, recruit, hire and retain great talent for The Children’s Place Inc., based in Secaucus N.J. This dynamic role will be developing recruiting strategies to support functional business objectives, processes and programs. The Creative Talent Acquisition Manager will be accountable for establishing and developing effective communication and influential partnerships with the business leaders within Design, Merchandising and Sourcing, leading and managing the recruitment process. The Talent Acquisition Manager will drive the initiatives to attract, recruit, hire and retain great talent for TCP Inc. This role will report directly to Director of Talent Acquisition. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Partner with hiring managers to develop staffing strategy for current and future needs. • Participate in strategic staffing initiatives including compensation guidelines, workflow, and process improvement. • Conduct regular business partners’ meetings to educate on recruiting best practices, market data, including execution of Talent Acquisition processes and tools. • Responsible for project management and business development for areas of responsibility including strategic manpower initiatives by hiring candidates in support of organizational needs. • Responsible for holding hiring managers accountable for recruiting processes including timely feedback, Recruiting Partnerships, driving KPI (time to fill, cost per hire, interview to placement ratio) and Interviewing Guidelines. • Responsible for conducting business in a consultative manner through communicating persuasively, influencing others, and sharing a point of view by using a creative approach to drive results. • Conduct hiring manager requisition meetings and discuss recruiting process, partnerships and sourcing plans. • Create sourcing strategy for open positions. Source candidates through cold calling, networking, career fairs, Internet postings, on-campus recruiting, and employee referrals. • Utilize sourcing database through data entry of candidates research lists, reference checks and relevant candidate information. • Determine qualifications of candidates based on job description criteria and select qualified candidates to present to hiring manager. • Evaluate skill level and provide guidance to internal/external candidates throughout the interview process. • Provide skill-based feedback and recommendations to applicant and hiring manager, if applicable, regarding strengths and developmental needs of internal/external applicants. • Gather detailed interview feedback from hiring managers in order to identify, determine, and select most qualified candidates. • Provide guidance and direction to Talent Acquisition coordinator during the creation of interview schedules, logistics and travel arrangements. • Manage offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/turn downs. • Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management, benefits, relocation and compensation departments, including HR Business Partners as needed. • Compile reports for openings, hires, and post hire summaries for hiring managers when appropriate. • Collaborate across cross functional team to support process improvements and the sharing of best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of proven full life- cycle recruiting experience in a corporate retail apparel environment. • Experience recruiting for Creative within Merchandising, Planning, Design and Sourcing preferred. • Must demonstrate the ability to work well within a team environment, and successfully build relationships & communicate with Executive-level management and hiring managers. • Must demonstrate the ability to be professional & confidential on all levels of communication. • Ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment through demonstrated, proven leadership. • Strong problem solving by proactively driving results and being solution oriented. • Demonstrated decision making through global thinking by balancing individual responsibility while considering the departments’ needs and goals. • Ability to continuously drive for process improvement coupled with excellent written and communication skills. • Ability to manage customer relationships, provide strong customer service skills and work in a large, team environment. • Demonstrated flawless communication/presentation skills to all audience levels. • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business partners. • Proven organization skills - ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands. • Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a high volume recruitment environment.
