MANILA, Philippines – Philippine flights have been suspended as areas in Luzon continue to be battered by incessant rains and flooding brought by the southwest monsoon. State weather bureau PAGASA has lifted an orange alert as heavy to at times intense rainfall affects Metro Manila and parts of central and southern Luzon. Cancelled flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for Monday, September 23, are: Terminal 1 CX904 MNL-HKG CX912 MNL-HKG CX901 HKG-MNL Terminal 2 PR300/301 MNL-HKG-MNL PR318/319 MNL-HKG-MNL PR312/313 MNL-HKG-MNL Terminal 3 2P084/085 MNL-Basco-MNL 2P081/082 MNL-Kalibo-MNL There is no cancellation of flights at Terminal 4. NAIA advises departing passengers whose flights are not suspended to consider the vehicular traffic and possible flooding along roads leading to the airport so as not to miss their flight.
