MANILA, Philippines – The issues brought by former Makati City vice mayor Ernesto Mercado on the alleged use of dummies by Vice President Jejomar Binay in acquiring properties and businesses has no weight on the Senate’s probe on the alleged overpriced Makati City Building 2. This was according to Senator Aquilino Koko Pimentel III after the Senate Blue Ribbon Sub-Committee heard the new charges hurled by Binay’s former ally turned nemesis, ranging from rigged public bidding on supply contract to the use of dummies.
