MANIPUR, NAGALAND NEED MPs WHO CAN RAISE ITS CONCERNED STATE ISSUES IN PARLIAMENT We have had enough MPs (specially outer Manipur and Nagaland) who, forget about playing significant role for the state, not even ask 50 questions in the whole of their five years sitting in parliament. We have had enough MPs who had just represented the state because there is reserved representation seat in the parliament. Guys, we cant afford to let this be again, anymore. This is one reason we are still down there at the foot of the ladder cant even able to see where others have/are reached/climbing. Just look at the activity/record of our 15th Lok Sabha representatives, last three MPs- two from Manipur and one from Nagaland. Thangso Baite (Outer Manipur, Indian National Congress) - 60 years - 98% Attendance - 3 Debates - 9 Questions asked - 0 Private member bill Thokchom Meinya (Inner Manipur, Indian National Congress) - 68 years - 99% Attendance - 55 Debates - 204 Questions asked - 1 Private member bill C.M. Chang (Nagaland, Nagaland Peoples Front) - 70 years - 78% Attendance - 1 Debate - 33 Questions asked - 0 Private member bill Whereas the highest one in the last Lok Sabha sitting is Anandrao Adsul (Maharashtra, Shiv Sena). - 66 years - 74% Attendance - 35 Debates - 1266 Questions asked - 3 Private member bills Is it that our two states has no issues and so no questions, no bills? Imagine that Shiv Sena representative who represents just one constituency but could do that much. Whereas our three MPs representing two states and only that much? Its pathetic learning this. We dont need just representation. We need action. We need development. We need growth. We need progress. Because we also want to walk with the rest of the world. So, fellow voters....................... The so called senior politician has nothing to do in todays world unless.... Forget about s/he is from my tribe, so on and so forth. Give your vote recognizing the issues and the need. Lets be what, where and how others are in todays world.
