MANY EVILS OF OBASANJO The former military head of state and former president of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has become so controversial, complicated and highly unpredictable in recent times. Firstly it was what appears to be a season and gale of open letters defaming and mortally injuring on the personalities of key actors in the Nigerian politics. That alone cause alot of tension that throws the country into great chaos that open the floor for harsh and acerbic criticism towards the presidency. It was much later followed up by public lectures where every gathering whether the topic warrants it or not, the president will be trashed and heavily debased by his wordings. The president has always been his subject of ridicule in public places. He has sustained and maintained a very dangerous cordial relationship with his former minister in the person of Mrs. Obiageli that are all partners of attacking the presidency. Their misguided, malicious, misleading and spurious publications peddled against GEJ and his administration has no doubt together with APCs antagonisms have really contributed in no smaller measure to further deepens and worsens the insecurity challenges that have rocked our country in the past few years. Now is the controversial book titled MY WATCH in which from starting to ending contains defamatory and libelous contents against the President and others. Despite the fact that there was a court injunction restraining him from publishing the book he intensionally ignored it and whent ahead to publish it. He has been found guilty on contempt of court and has been ordered to appear before the court within 21 days to explain the reasons on why he should not go to jail or face punishment. With this act, he shows himself as above the law by violating judicial tenets and gross usurpation of the executive powers of the President, he has even dealt with the legislature. What does he really want?
