The rate of divorce and separation has skyrocketed. Any time you notice a crack or disintegration in marriage, take a curious look at the foundation of that marriage. The Question to ask is, how did they come together to marry? Some marriages have terrible foundations and as such they cannot fulfil the expectations of God. Marriages contracted when you were an enemy of God will always have foundational problems. Marriages contracted from accidental pregnancy or after consulting oracles will always have problems. A marriage in which a blood covenant is formed is already doomed. Marriages contracted on the basis of It is better than nothing is already doomed. Marriages based on trial and error or on physical attraction have a bad foundation. Marriages established by occult means will have a backfiring effect. A marriage based on satanic prophecies is also doomed. Marriages contracted on donation; that is, the woman as a child or teenager, who actually had no say in the contract was donated to the man, will eventually fail. Polygamous marriages also have a faulty foundation. Psalm 11:3 says If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? (2) COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE: Communication can simply be defined as an exchange of information or thoughts between two or more people. If two people live in a house and one of them speaks French, while the other only understand and speaks English, their will be a communication problem.
