MANZER CONQUERED KOLKATA! It was definitely the undisputed Gig of the Year alongside order of the Heretical Trident. We thank everyone who attended and supported PA and Hellion Distro first collaboration and MANZER who played their first and last gig in Kolkata! MANZER slayed from the very first song to last track! They played full one hour plus setlist for all kolkata fans and left them asking for more! If you were in the crowd you must know what an impact they left us with. And ofcourse this gig along with OTHT left us with a standard for ourselves to achieve set for ourselves in next rituals which we intend to conduct in 2015. Pictavian Necromancy also saw great performance and in our opinion one of the most talented upcoming band - BANISH we showed the art of doing old school death metal in most primitive way with right aesthetic! They blew us away with their primeval pounding reverbed dirty filthy old school sound with small but cohesive setlist which offered 80s dirty rotten sound laced with occult theme of Golden Dawn. THE INFERNAL DIATRIBE was IMHO one of the best black metal bands in the country along with GRIM OF CATASTROPHIA, Its just they are unknown bands to many but their music is ahead of most popular black metal bands here in this country. FACT, and all agreed that yesterday. these two bands plays raw black metal with maximum intensity and grittiness. OBLITERATING VORTEX again are one of the most underrated brutal death bands in this part of this country. Amazing technical skills and precision. We will surely bring them back soon as we genuinely admired this band and looking forward to them more frequently. We want to thank Shaxul and co. of MANZER for Pictavian Necromancy and their presence and ofcourse performance, Rest of the bands ofcourse for their support. Special thanks go to all crew members who are nothing but the best and most loyal friends ever! Specially Lunar Affinity who provided her time, money, sweat and effort into it, Also SnehasisH Das for handling sound like always and knowing what we want and need. and ofcourse our long time friend/brother/partner in crimes Farzand Ali Bawa of Hellion Distro for collaborating with us and make this gig a stand alone proof that good music and gigs survives and win over petite politics. PA/HD would also like to express our eternal camaraderie to Bangalore Doom Syndicate who supported us in every possible way always! Thank you Sujanya Das and Animikh Chakrabarty for almost being a part of PA family and helping us always! Putrid Ascendancy had an eventful year in 2014, Ritual Ascension Fest, Kolkata II, Order of the Heretical Trident and Pictavian Necromancy all belted out in same year with perfection! We announce that we might now host RAF again however OTHT series will hopefully continue to germinate the Kolkata Underground. So whats next? That is a good question to be be answered in early 2015!
