MARINA. Marina is a beautiful girl of about 3-4 years old. She measures roughly 20 to her shoulder & 19 neck to tail. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and will soon have an EU passport. We found Marina at the side of a motorway on my last day in Romania. She has an old injury to her front right leg, so was at great risk of being hit by a car, so we stopped. Shes so friendly that she let me pick her up and put her in the car and travelled perfectly all the way to our shelter...about an hour away. She was a little defensive meeting the other dogs at first, but she obviously knows that shes vulnerable due to being a tripod, so just gave a little growl if they came too close. It didny take her long to settle in though and she was happily one of the gang very quickly. Her damaged leg has clearly been broken in the past and the bones have set so she holds it tucked across her chest. All thats left of the paw is the main pad and a claw on the side, but its not at all painful and shes happy for it to be touched. Marina is extremely affectionate and bonds with her human very fast. Shes very responsive and will make a very loyal companion for the lucky person who gives her a home.
