MARK CHAPTER 8 STUDY QUESTIONS After performing a series of miracles, Jesus quizzed his disciples on the rumors surrounding his identity. Some people were saying he was a prophet; others claimed he was the spirit of one of God’s servants who had passed away. Most importantly, Jesus wanted to know who his followers believed him to be. Peter answered Jesus with a simple but profound declaration of his faith: He believed Jesus was the One the Scriptures had foretold, the Messiah, God’s Anointed King. Mark 7:24 – 8:30 REVIEW 1.
