MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Volunteering with Montgomery County Animal Shelter is a special experience - for both you, and for the animals who cant wait to meet you! Join us for a tour of the facility and an overview of volunteering opportunities. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older - or 16 with a parental waiver. Volunteer opportunities covered include both onsite shelter volunteering such as dog walking and cat socializing and offsite/home volunteering such as becoming an MCAS foster parent/family. Cat, kitten, dog and puppy fosters are always in need and allow you to volunteer from home. ***All dates begin at noon. The orientations are held at the shelter at 8535 Hwy 242 in Conroe, Texas.
