MARRAGE FACTS: WHAT TO CONSIDER BEFORE MARRYING SOMEONE. Marriage is beautiful. It is an institution created by God almighty. But marriage can be bitter if you don’t put some things in place or check certain things before marriage. Do not marry someone just because you love the person. There are many things you must do before you marry a person. Some of them include the following: 1. Check the family background of the person. Did he/she come from a good family? Did he/she come from a God-fearing family? Make sure he/she is from a good family. 2. Do the parents and siblings of your fiance love you? Please never you marry someone whose parents and siblings hate you. Ensure that all the family members of the person you want to marry love and accept you. 3. Can you cope with the characters of the person? Ensure that you can cope with his/her behaviours. Do not manage him/her. 4. Your genotype must be compatible with the genotype of your spouse. “AS” should not marry “AS”. Similarly, “SS” should not marry “AS”. 5. Marry someone who listens to your advice and takes correction or else there will be no peace in your marriage. 6. The person should be a God fearing person. 7. Marry someone who can encourage you, give you advice that can add value to your life. 8. Ensure that the person you want to marry is a trustworthy person who you can confide in. 9. Marry your friend. Husband and wife should be best of friends. 10. Marry someone who has presentable character; not a fighter who fights everyone in the neighbourhood. Don’t marry someone who will tarnish your image. THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THEM. Consider them before you marry someone. Do not be carried away by love. DO YOU AGREE WITH MY ADVICE???
