MARRIAGE MATTERS- What exactly are we teaching? I have been observing in a lot of marriage seminars, a lot of humanism, psychology and philosophy is been taught as KEY to happy marriages. I am amazed when singles attend my relationship seminars and basic foundation of the Christian Faith needed for right decision making has not been laid, and these people have been in and out of relationships. My point is this- GOD is the AUTHOR of Marriage, we must endeavor to build the premise of our marriage seminars/training and discussions on the WORD OF GOD. Marriage is typified by Paul , as the union between CHRIST & THE CHURCH. I am therefore not surprised with the spread of psychology/humanism and all in the Body THIS has pushed on into our marriage meetings. Civil Rights/Social activist/Empowerment movements did not institute marriage, they cant repair nor help it. This is my thoughts! Selah. NB: I am not discounting practical teachings- Just saying we should LAY THE RIGHT FOUNDATION/ FIRST!!
