MARRIAGE POOL UPDATE: A few months ago we started a matchmaking system (its a system, not a service because its free, and there is a process) in order to help get the singles married. There is a disconnect in being able to find a mate and yet there are numerous singles seeking in various communities. Our research shows that your mate may not be in your state. All participants are kept anonymous unless they tell people they are in our pool seeking a mate. Its very discreet and non pressured. We have over 100 people registered, men & women, and more signing up daily. Heres the issues. Dont shoot, Im only the messenger. We ask for profiles (and pics) for icebreakers. If you cant get past the first initial steps, theres no need to go any further. We are about sustaining marriages rather than just trial marriages. This is the feedback that has prohibited connections: 1) Issues with dowrys - sisters, those looking for African American men, some are asking for too much. A house & a car, 50k, 100k (not all of these are for one person except the house & the car) are out of the leagues of the brothers that are looking. We dont have Jamie Foxx in our pool, we have decent hard working men who are trying to fulfill their obligation. 2) Weight - (on both sides) Laaawd dont shoot me, just giving yall feedback. You want people to be honest & keep it real. Some people said they couldnt handle the weight issue of the other. Its just a preference, but something everyone should know. You cant deal with what you dont know. 3) Too many in common FB friends. Yup, I know. For some reason being popular on FB is a turn off. Remember, Im just the messenger. 4) Not wanting their calls to be monitored. We monitor introductory calls just like a sit down. As most connections are in other states, we still have to provide a screen of protection. Believe it or not, some dont want that. Welp, we cant help you because we have to be shred that there is nothing improper about your conversations. Who wouldnt want that?
