MARRIAGE! THE LAST LAP OF the MARATHON of relationships. Those who do a marathon start early enough to do some rigorous training exercises. They do this consistently for a long time to enable them, Buildup their muscles, Develop and store up energy that will push them all the way forward, and Gain the required skill that will help them expend their energy within a record time. Just as it is in doing the marathon, so it is for marriage: but many fall out few years after the induction ceremony (wedding) is done, especially when the children are too young to understand anything about relationship. Only when we have long developed true character on the bases of Gods Love, will we be able to surge forward and finish the marriage race. True character on the bases of Gods Love is what makes marriage very colourful and successful especially in the midst of numerous challenges. Your marriage may not look like it now, but can still experience a turnaround, if, You are honest about checking on your mistakes or shortcomings, You can humbly take responsibility over your mistakes, You can humble yourself to go back to class to learn at Jesus feet like Mary- Lk 10:39; Mtt. 11: 29. You can ask Him for wisdom - Jms 1:5; 3:17. You can constantly make a sacrifice of love to your spouse- speaking the right words, caring and giving. I pray that your marriage will finish well in Jesus name. For those who are looking forward to getting married, this is the time to develop true character on the bases of pure Love that make you win. I pray that you remain faithful to God, so your steps will be well ordered to start well and finish well in Jesus name.
