MARS Gallery wants to let you know and be alert to a stolen artwork . The stolen work is called Moon (Walking to all my friends houses in the world) I, by renowned artist, Miso. The National Gallery of Victoria currently holds the sister piece in their collection and we had promised to lend the work to a major institution for an exhibition later this year. The work was stolen at 3.20 am from Smith & Co , Smith St display home where it was on exhibition. We have video footage of the theft from security cameras both inside the building and CCTV footage on the street . We know you know your art so PLEASE be on the look out for the work , we are appealing to anyone who has information to please come forward to either MARS Gallery or the Police. The video footage will be distributed shortly. We are offering anyone who comes forward with useful information a generous reward for their assistance.
