MASHELE MEDIA Mbali MK Mkhonto Makes History, A Good Story to tell. Mbali mkhonto was duly elected as the first Black president of the University of Johannesburg (UJ) convocation following a long lifespan of white supremacy and spasmodic suppression of black people in general and Africans in particular. Mashele Media team can confirm that the UJ alumni was dominated by white monopoly capital for almost a decade after the merger of RAU, VISTA and TWR in 2005, which gave birth to UJ. Mbali became a quick solution to the black communities when he stood up to contest the most feared top position. A considerable number, to the medias surprised, even fellow Africans were left flabbergasted, annoyed and perturbed when the brilliant son of Lulu Mkhonto emerged victoriously with an absolute majority. It was not arduous for UJ graduates to juggle their diaries, exonerate themselves from their busy schedule to elect the duly mentioned organic intellectual. He holds two degrees from the university of Johannesburg, both obtained in a standard duration. He is currently studying towards his Masters degree. In his acceptance speech, the intelligentsia informed the Vice Chancellor and Principal of UJ, Prof Ihron Rensburg that, the time is now for the Majority to tap into the economy , access entrepreneurship opportunities and to be absorbed by the congested labour market. He further said that the University should enter into a Public Private Partnership to ensure that graduates finds expression in business without any hassle and/or barriers of entry. His passion for youth development, precisely youth in business cannot be overemphasised in this regard. Mbali Robbie Mkhonto remained an inspiration to many South Africans. Most of young people draw confidence in his successes to believe that indeed Black child is possible.
