MASSACRE IN NYC Tonight most of us are running home to get out of the cold, trying to get into our nice warm homes to make dinner, watch television, snuggle up with our loved ones (both 2 and 4 legged). While we all do that, 28 dogs are spending their last night on earth alone, cramped in a cage, cold and starving. Starving not only for food, but for attention. Some of them have never been shown attention, some of them have but have been taken away from it. There is no age or size exempt from the massacre, dogs range from 6 months old to 6 years old. There are small dogs (Shih Tzus, to Jack Russell Terrier, to Chihuahua to Yorkie) to large ones (Pit Bulls, to Rottweilers, to Boxer). All of the having 1 thing in common tonight, they might not make it to see the light of day tomorrow. I would love to list every single one of their names so they mean something, so they have an identity, but there are just too many of them. So instead of doing that I will do this: Please help save them. They have no one to speak for them except us. No one cares if they live or die because if there was, they would not be here in a death shelter. So that leaves us. Those of us who come here every night to try and make a difference. Even if this is the first time you have seen this list, you can help. All you have to do is save 1. If everyone did that, 28 dogs would be able to live to see another day. But if just 1 person decides to turn away and wait for someone else to do that, lives get lost. And we cannot have that. Look at every one of these photos, look into the eyes of each and every dog and show me 1 that does not deserve to see another day. Each of them have a story, each of them have an ability to make someone happy. But without you, one will be lost. Please don’t let that happen. Make a difference. Start contacting rescues now.
